Cut all my own sheets of ply and board.
Great investment.
Other than that I have all makita tools and dewalt sliding compound mitre saw.

=)

Now that is something everyone should have!

Only the best! Snap on!

I wouldn't buy anything from Snap-on. Same quality as everyone else, and a much higher price tag. I've known way too many mechanics that have gotten caught up in that pissing match.

I have these units and I love them. The drill and impact driver are separate units and came in a small silver hard case with the charger. Both drill and impact driver come with 1/4" hex quick connect. I bought a keyless chuck for the drill that fits right into the 1/4" hex quick connecter. Love it. Now I can use any drill up to 1/2". These units have a small head light on them that is great for working inside a cabinet like a fish tank stand. These units are very small and easily fit in the tight places. Very strong too, the impact driver has no problem pushing a 3.5" screw through a sheet of plywood and into a 2X4.

Yes, that's the one but I hate the silver box. I asked my wife if she wants it for her cosmetics, she declined lol.

x1,000 I just didn't want to be the guy to start/say it.

I guess I am lucky having an entire cabinet shop to be able to do any of my DIY projects. Here is my bundle of joy. A point-to-point cnc router.:D sorry if the picture is sideways.

I like Bosch power tools, use to use them all the time at my old job and treat them like hell and they just kept working. I also bought a cheap Ozito drill for while I was working on the roof (easier and safer to throw it up and down then to climb with it) to my amazement it is still going jsut as good as when I bought it and its been bashed to hell.

For hand tools IMO you cant beat tengtools, thier warrenty is brilliant and so are the tools. I stuffed a ratchet trying to use a forklift and a 2m pipe to undo a big arse bolt and they replaced it without hesitation. Prior to using the forklift we had 3 big 6ft+ guys pushing on the bar and the bolt didnt budge, later found out it was welded in....

LOL I love the silver box. I keep my drill bits, impact wrench kit, a couple screwdrivers, a small level and all kinds of picture hanging hardware along with the charger and both drivers, it all fits. Everything is in one box. Of course I'm not a pro, I use it mostly to hang pictures and odd jobs around the house or the office.

I stopped using battery powered tools after I realized the cost of battery replacement was more than the tool itself.

Milwaukee, Hitachi and PC seem to have held up pretty good.
