@hybridcichlid yeah my texas (male) had got the rtm to lay eggs in his pot. The batch was unsuccessful, either lack of care from parents since first time or maybe dads sterile.

Most Texas are fertile I never seen one that wasn't I would stay on that that's interesting....

He is a short body so I'm guessing he's got some parrot blood in him possibly. I heard males from there can sometimes be infertile.

@ Falazo Not all short body Texas come from parrots but some do.....where did u get him from a breeder or local fish store

Yours is a very odd carpintis, never seen such white on black before... could be a hybrid.
