9" Male - Carpintis (Escondido)
Here's what my 10" texas x kml flowerhorn looked like before he past away last week...
This is another one that I'm growing out... about 5.5" now. Fading started this June.

Cordell:
A shot of her at around 2" when I picked her up on 9/21
She (I assume it's a she, please correct me if I'm wrong) has grown around 3" in the last month and a half and is now pushing 5". I am blown away at how quickly this little cichlid is growing. Lots of personality to boot, she the only fish that my O pair lets into their den/nest area.

Nice looking fish. What are you feeding her and how much? That's a crazy growth rate. Are you doing a lot of w/c 2??

To answer you question; she eats anything and everything I put in the tank. Including but not always limited to: Hikari cichlid gold, Hikari carnivore sticks, Omega one tubiflex worms, Omega one super color cichlid pellets, Nutrifin max cichlid spirluna meal sticks, freeze dried krill and frozen bloodworms. (Once a day feedings)
I have yet to see her take out a feeder fish but I'm sure she's not too far away from doing so.
Water changes are either a weekly 50% change or 2x 25% if I have the time during a weekday.
