Texas cichlid thread

@bluewatertexas the pleco has to go either u can do it or allow them to do it they killed the 2 i had....It all depends on ya fish but it will eat the eggs

Yeah a pleco will eat the eggs. Usually though with most cichlids they won't really be able to take on a pleco, hence why they're even kept with stuff like oscars and the like. Of course there's always cases where one has such aggressive and powerful cichlid that... yeah.

In my case though, my green texas wouldn't even hurt a bristlenose. :P

Here is my red he is pretty special bought him cause he was the runt this is the first pic taken of him when i first bought him he has grown rapidity he is bout 2 and a half inches now beautiful fish. Cant tell what sex he is but he also has a facial deformity but this joker knows it dont stop him from eating and letting the other fish in the tank what rock is his haha his name is UGA lol looks like a bulldog in the face now lol since he has gotten bigger
