Texas cichlid thread

@Bluewatertexas: Yeah, she will cross with a super green texas, and even if the male is smaller than her, it should be fine.

@MTBjake: Mhm, I reckon they look amazing in their breeding dress. But lol I heard both cyanos and carps are infamous for their attempt to mate with... everything.

Lol yeah I'm hoping she puts on some size before she ever breeds.

If u have a male in their and she's healthy and the water right she home go into breeding.....My female bout 4" this her 2nd batch the 1st set she laid I had with my red devil he ate them 1 week later I notice her tube was still down so I got a adult male Texas and he made it happen....Since I took him out the tank he been acting funny in the other tank not eating staying in the corner I guess he gve post magic depression....

Lol that sucks the RD ate the fry.
This female is probably the smallest fish in the tank aside from a male Cuban(it would be cool if the paired up) so I'm thinking that has to do with why she hasn't gone into breeding dress again. No big deal I guess. She will when she's ready and I'm in no hurry.
