Convict? ID fsh

I think with convicts you'll never know their true ID. With the way they breed and how similar they look to HRPs who knows what's happening at the fish farms. Youre better off assuming they're a mix just like red devils and midas.
I bought a pink female con but compared to my pink male she looks very white like a platnium HRP. She didn't lay a ton of eggs like most female cons which is a suposed difference in HRPs.

Just a convict. I have always had a few in each spawn that were a little odd.

Eh? Thanks guys...I think there's quite a bit of confusion here, not sure my neither...Sorry I've posted too many pics and no one knows which is Male and Female.
Hmmm, I'm one to notice a bit more details in life...the body shape is a bit different too for the female in question. I bet most people say Sajicas, HRP, Nanos, Cutteri, and others are Convicts too. Just like the Jack Dempseys that no one ever knew existed or how to tell each of them apart. Just google for Rocio Octofasciata or Jack Dempsey cichlid, and you will see some pics of Gemmeta and Ocotal thought to be Octofasciata, lol.
This is fun, because it doesn't matter...and no one REALLY knows for sure. Since there are so many different possibilities of variants due to many different variables, and not enough credible and intensive studies, a lot of species are just theories. Maybe later to be found true or false to the initial theoritical labeling and "Whomp, They It Is"
That's probably why these 2 Females are the same Black Convict species. Sorry I don't buy this theory.

It is a regular convict with a short body.

Although my male is wild caught in a secluded region and can be considered pure, some can still say he is mixed somehow too. To each their own.
