Male or female Freddy mini dovii?

great pick up then. That is one of the only two good stores I have found in STL. that fish looked a lot better in person than in the pictures. I just wish my freddy wasn't such a fish assassin.

what other store do you like? so far it has been tropical world pets and Malawi aquatics... yeah fish always look better in person, mine is showing no aggression so far
 
malawi is the other. they are a bit more expensive, but it saves me a drive since they are maybe a mile from my house.
 
I am pretty sure you bought a fish I donated to Tropical World Pets. It is a male La Ceiba Freddie. I donated a male and female in September and kept a pair for myself. They were less than an inch long when I bought them in February 2012.

Here is a picture of the male I kept.

Small world indeed. FYI, they are from Rusty Wessel's place. Juan Miguel Artigas Azas made a presentation to Missouri Aquarium Society Inc. and brought them for auction.
