Beleive me, me too, Haha, I'm doing my sump.planning now, its going to be a 45 gallon tank, its a tank in bad condition but holds water just fine, so I will post pics when fish are in and when the Sump is done

You want your mechanical to be first not the bio. Your bio will clog up with crap.

Edit: Ah now I see the filter sock NVM.

Use the second chamber for bio and the chamber prior the pump with more bio.
