Whoever got the opportunity to purchase him is one lucky person.

Thanks Fam and I do owe you an apology, I did have you confused with someone else. Im sorryIm bit trigger happy and have no patience for a few members on here But after all what can they say, My Umbees speak for themselves and have silenced all there ignorant theories on them.
GORILLUS IS VERY REAL
UMBEE POWERRRR!!!!!!
thanks for sharing the growing process. I've been wanting to see that.
Because I now have a 2" and a 4.5"
When I got them I started looking through the gorillus and got hooked. I really like these F1 sub adults. Pretty crazy looking and unexpected coolness. To be honest, seeing the parents I thought these were gonna be ugly, but now that thought had reversed after seeing the blues shine like this and the head patterns of the f1s
I like both my Gorillus blues. Who cares if they were discovered before. Dinosaurs once existed but where are they now?
Yeah, he's ok I guess. And by ok I mean drop dead gorgeous! You are a stronger person than I, being able to part with such a stunning specimen. Congrats on doing such an amazing job caring for this fish. Hellscream has me really wanting a blue ape of my own!! Merry Xmas UmbeeKing!

An absolute knockout punch for the gorillus blues! Hope to see more of this guy in the future as he has shown me what I have to look forward to. Great job and good lick with the next future knockout!

Accepted, no worries. I read many earlier threads on this fish, and saw some of the commentary, I can understand. The fish is impressive. Do you expect anything in the way of articles or other documentation of bringing this variant to the hobby to be published beyond the threads on this board? I think the last article on umbies was in Cichlid Magazine re: the green variant which was quite a few years ago.
