You should start out at 1 drip per second. With better pics we can tell you what the xenia is. Your hammer will open as long as your water parameters are okay, just remember to keep the lights off for a while to let them destress a little.

Start at 1per second and slowly raise the drips over a half hour to a slow stream. There is really no need to drip acclimate for longer than 30 minutes unless you are acclimating hard corals or very sensitive inverts. Xenia is a very very hardy coral and a hammer coral is hardy too.

There in the tank. Also thought I'd mention i bought some phytofeast to feed the coral. Next thing im getting a fire scallop and a peppermint shrimp. I found aptasia in my tank. EEK! Its just 1 tiny tiny head though. But the peppermint shrimp just in case.

Remember where there is one aptasia there is generally more. I would just take care of it myself before it has time to spread. Flame scallops are a little more hard to take care of and they prefer a mature reef aquarium. Make sure your nitrates are under control because they do not tolerate them. They also need to be target fed. I feed mine marine snow with a medicine dropper upstream.

What color hammer you get? I couldn't really see in the pic.
