Hey biggles what lights do you have on your tank? Because idk if it your camera or the lights, but if you had more blue light it would make your fish and coral look better. Also try to find a blue led strip or moonlight for early morning and night, it will also really make your hammer pop. I would post pics of mine with the LEDs on, but I don't have any good pics right now.

Thanks. Ive been meaning to ask my dad about that. Their are 2 tiny tiny moonlight leds on the tank. Its embarrassing, you cant even tell they are on at night. Even at pitch black its just barely visible. Idk why red sea didnt think to put more than 2 tiny blue leds. Their are 2 50/50 bulbs on the tank. 10,000k/blue and 55 watts each. But i think sometime in the future i will need to modify the hood with a blue led strip.

PET PEEVE - sideways pictures.

Guys, it's so incredibly easy to rotate your photos. Looking at these pics sideways is killing my neck!!!!

If you are using any version of windows here is the easiest way to rotate your pictures.

1.) click on the icon that represents your picture - it should open in "windows picture and fax viewer" by default unless you have changed the defaults.

2.) At the bottom of that window that opens are two icons with little green triangles and blue arrows showing which way each button will rotate the currently open picture.

3.) Click the appropriate button. Say "yes" to any window that opens warning you that there could be pixel number loss when rotating the picture. Click it anyway.

4.) Now click the X to close that picture window, don't save it, you don't have to. Closing the window auto saves the picture in it's rotated format. Now every time you click the icon representing that photo it will be rotated.

5.) Experiment, practice, thank me later.

You will get a better look from better bulbs too. ATI,KZ and GE are the way to go for bulbs. You wouldn't believe the difference it makes by swapping out those stock t5 bulbs. I would definitely look into them. I did on my 40 and I'll never look back. If you want more blue just get a stunner strip. They do a good job and the are fairly cheap. As for moonlights, you don't want your whole tank lit up you just want a dim blue.

Im having some sort of error on the app. All my uploaded pics come out sideways even though they were NOT taken sideways and do NOT show up sideways when viewed outside the app.
