That RD is UGLY!!!! Please send it to me for closer inspection.
I like the Cichlasoma, it has a FH on the front.
I hate people who have the choice of buying from LFS in O.C. and Westminster, being in Colorado doesn't help at all with FH's in LFS.

I use the 1mm cichlid formula but the Thera a or cichlasoma formulas will do wonders for your fh. You really can't go wrong with either of them. Thera a just has more garlic;)

lol alright thanks i'll give it a shot. and yea its pretty convenient here around Westminster haha. quite a few fish stores to choose from

For RD its blue backgroung and white substrate in my book. Def not a black background.

oo gotta go with the mod here :] will do. and how about natural gravel? or is white more preferable? or how does a bare bottom compare to having substrate for fhs? will it affect their coloration at all?
 
I do bare bottom but I put background on the bottom of my tank. I'm a little OCD though, I put it on the sides as well.
