loll all this hmong. i can read most of it hehe. but i've no clue the last question youre asking. im still deciding if i should go bare bottom or natural or white substrate. but for sure blue background

Here's some pics of a couple of my flowerhorn setups...Of course this is only available to do if your tank is empty. But I really like having the bare bottom but having the color there.

Get some Natural Substrate and NLS Cichlasoma, better go all out.

im thinkin about the natural substrate. but if i do that, then imma need to put my babies somewhere for a while until the gravel and the cloudiness settles down in the tank. or unless its safe to leave them in there while i add the gravel.

Thanks, its the blue bg that all pet stores sell, I like it because its black on the other side. I'm just very OCD about how I measure and get it on there. If you cut it well, tape where the silicone and glass meets, you'll never notice any differences.

Starve him, switch him over to New Life Spectrum or Hikari Cichlid Gold as its much better for him than Grand Sumo.

Are all pellets created equal? Alife any good?
