NJ swaps/meet ups/ LFS tours

Ironwood how about this. Mike is being more then nice enough to open up his store for our meet up and swap. Lets leave it as this for now. I think it will be great to meet up with other members there for the day, hang out, and not drive all over the state. If we get a good turnout I will put together a LFS tour for March. I will need to put some work into that. those of you that have done tours before how long do you spend at each place and how do you arrange when its time for everyone to move on? ALso Ironwood I can only think of two good stores on rt 22 shanty and shark, is Ocean gallary your third (if so sorry but I will definitely have to disagree with you for fw stuff).
 
Your thread started as meet/ tour. You have people coming from far away, they should take advantage of the great stores NJ has to offer. There is a nice place on rt46( I forget the name, I remember it was pricey) aquascape is up in the area. When I used to do a tour, I started at rt22, S/A/ pet shanty and Ocean Gallary. Going south from there hit animals & things, pet asylum, tropaquarium, ect. I was a few years ago, I dont even know if the stores are still in business.
 
I know SA, pet shanty, ocean gallery are still in business I live 10 minutes from them but the ones called rt 46 and those other ones iv never been too but now I'm going to do some research and see.

my thread started as asking what ever happened to the meet up and tours. Then it turned into organizing one
This weekend I can put a tour together. In the vicinity of rt 4 we have some really good places: fish hut, aquascape, absolutely fish (your rt 46 store). Then on Rt 22 shark aquarium and pet shanty are worth going to. IMO Ocean gallery is not worth the time. Let me check if Ely's tropical fish and water garden will be open. They have funny hours. Don't think animals & things, pet asylum are still around but will check. Adams pet safari is interesting but may be really out of the way. I can put tropaquarium on the list but thats down the shore and a fair drive from everything else and I don't know much in between. Can definitely add it but just don' know if I will be joining you on that one.
 
tho rt 4 will be the starting point/meeting point and we will spend some time there
