yellow Dovii VS Blue

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm a fan of the blue. I know I got mine mainly because of their overall personality not necessarily his look. heres my 1 year old. he only shows color when youre not looking but you get the idea.

I vote Costa Rican Gold Dovii Males and Females. Search "Rio Heredia Dovii" in YouTube and there's a couple videos of awesome pairs!

I also like the look of female nic blue Dovii but I have never liked the look of the males.

My small pair of "Costa Rican" Dovii. Jury is still out with me on that one. Could be Nics.
They don't have any of the coloring my Nic pair had, but I didn't breed them so can't be sure.

Thanks I'll let him know. It just appeared after I came back from vacation at Christmas. He probably ate about 30 convicts and 50 goldfish in 2 weeks. His regular food is massivore and raw shrimp.
What do you feed your electric blue dovii? Does he change color at all or is he fluorescent all the time?

Wow that sounds like a meal lol. I feed him a variety of pellets blood worms goldfish minnows bugs anything an everything really. And he's mostly the color in the pic where he's yawning. The fluoreent coloring only comes out wen he's really angry wen I net out uneaten food or put my hand in the tank.
