Fair enough if its my fault, Just first learn to read a topic before posting since I wasn't blaming anyone/anything else.

And by the way on the 'Why would you not have a hood'? I find beauty in unhooded rimless tanks and so do A LOT of nano tanks hobbyists such as Nano Reefs or Nano Planted tanks. Also, How would I put a lid on with my light? It's an AI Sol LED light that has to hang from the ceiling. It would certainly not fit in a lid, It would literally be dipping into the water. Goodbye.

Not really man, I had them since about November? Yeah it does evaporate fast But I have a good supply of RO/DI water.
 
It's not your fault lol don't listen to them. Reef tanks don't have lids as a rule. Salt water is a better insulator than fresh and with a salt tank running through twice the amount of pumps, it overheats easily. Not having a lid IS your safeguard. Unless its an eel or octopus tank (which it's not or you wouldn't have clownfish). Sometimes fish commit suicide. If your params are spot on, you can chalk it up to bad luck. To be honest, I've never seen a clownfish jump for any reason other than running from a predator. What's your other stock and tank size?
