If my green star polyp has not come out at all in 24 hours should i be worried?

Hi, so i am reading for sure about 3-4 days. 5 days w/o light is pushing it but still possible. If this is true then good. Its only been 14 hours.

Yes i learned my lesson. I feel terrible for killing the mandarin. Never want to have to deal with that again. Also my parents say they wont let me get another one.
