It's not your fault lol don't listen to them. Reef tanks don't have lids as a rule. Salt water is a better insulator than fresh and with a salt tank running through twice the amount of pumps, it overheats easily. Not having a lid IS your safeguard. Unless its an eel or octopus tank (which it's not or you wouldn't have clownfish). Sometimes fish commit suicide. If your params are spot on, you can chalk it up to bad luck. To be honest, I've never seen a clownfish jump for any reason other than running from a predator. What's your other stock and tank size?

The tank is a 20g and the only stock was 2 Clowns (As you've guessed they both jumped) 1 Cleaner Shrimp, Like 2 small hermits and about 2-3 Snails, Only 2 corals since I'm only starting with corals and they are a Button Polyp and a torch. As for Hitchhikers there is a small astrea Star, Sponge and a mussel of some sort.
