Not an aro

He can easily do an aro for life in a 300 gallon rubbermaid, that's better than what mostaros end up in. It'll have plenty of swimming room and won't get spooked from activity outside of the stock tank. You would still need some type of cover or netting but aros can easily be done in a 300 rubbermaid.

For me I also want to get an TSN but also an RTC so I'm getting an 700g tub 10x10x30" that'll be plenty go max growth. And also plan on haveing an over the top filtration 2. But IMO a TSN can live in it for life yes.

couldnt get that size! the 300 will fit into my basement by 2 inches!

i swear to god if i had a 100000gallon tank someone like you would come along and say "not an aro"

Probably true. I'm surprised some smart-arse hasn't coming along and said. "300G? For life.. Guppies.. maybe some mollys or platys I guess.." Meanwhile they have rtc, gar, cichlids and gar in a 125.

Check out this thread: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?432445-Rubbermaid-300-gallon-stock-tank

300G is really not that much water, so you are going to run into water quality issues if you try dumping a ton of monsters in there...especially if you only have an FX5.

Per the thread that I referenced, the stock tanks are deceiving in that they are large around the upper lip, but they taper down to about 48" by 42"...that's not a very big footprint, especially when you are talking about getting cats that grow 3'+.

Why not stick with cichilds and perhaps some smaller cats?

If you are stuck on the idea of getting a TSN, you should get a larger tank like this: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/f...ue-Fiberglass-Stock-Tank-w-filterbox-90631-PU

not sure why i would want to do what? and i disagree they dimensions are very diffrent from a aquarium the bin is 5feet L x 5feet W x 2feet T

I disagree, my aquarium (glass) is 5x3x2 thats pretty close to your dimension considering you say aquariums dimensions are "very different"
