yea that's ALOT I didn't think to mention in my earlier posts although i should have my friend works at the LFS and the only reason I mention this is because when I purchase I portion he actually hooks me up with about 2-3 sometimes more. So id say my retic is eating about 4-5 portions a week, I feed as much and as often as I can and she always eats except after several minutes of munching and I assume its because she is full. Anyone think she should be consuming more?

I fed three times a day to get them extremely fat before I began to break them of black worms to shrimp and tilapia. The rest of the foods will come after that.

so far just blackworms..only other type of worms avaliable that ive found are nightcrawlers which i know if i choose to offer id have to chop up. The market shrimp idea i do like and and am going to give a try and as far as pellets and market shrimp go i was thinking of soaking and offering covered in blackworms what do you think?
Also will be posting a pic of her as a seperate thread either tonight or tomorrow.

Just buy a fish dedicated cutting board and knife. Trust me you will have to chop shrimp smelt tilapia worms ect. I don't feed blackworms but variety is always better!

Starve her for a few days to get her really hungry then throw just a little black worms in with little strips of shrimp mixed in and it will just pounce on the black worms and accidentally eat some shrimp with them. Then slowly offer more shrimp then black worms then nothing but shrimp. This method worked best for me over my five week endeavor to break them of black worms after trying many different methods.

So I tried chopped market shrimp mixed in black worms but she didn't eat it. I've noticed after a few minutes of eating black worms they seem to not be appealing as I see her searching and blowing in the sand looking for food while there are worms to eat.

Starve her for a few days and don't offer her anything then try again you just have to be persistent this who process took me 5 pain staking weeks...
