How to tell Retroculus Xinguensis from Lapidifer at 2"?

Curious, what brand of bloodworms are you feeding your retros? I will feed mine NLS, but want to have some bloodworms on hand just in case.
Im feeding mine san fransico bay brand i think. And im trying to get them on pellets and i feed NLS to all of my eartheaters

Yes, with out you guys i wouldnt even known i got a lapidifer. but im kind of glad i got a lapidifer aswell because both species are beautiful when there adults. Thanks for teaching me the differences.

Nope just to enjoy them. If the day comes that septentrionalis become available i will set up a tank just for them and attempt to breed them but if not ill have so nice fish. I was wondering is it even possible for the septentrionalis to be imported to the usa?

Originally I got lapidifers thinking I got xingunesis but, since I had lapdifers I just added to my group. Now I got 7 in a 20l waiting till they hit 3 inches or so so, they can go into the 200. I'll get pics up wen I get my camera back.
