Fishtanksdirect used to be located in Arizona. They are now in FL. They also seem to go by the name AcrylicAquariumsDirect.com. (same physical address) They are clearly a different operation from the one I dealt with in 2009. Perhaps they bought out a tank manufacturing plant. Someone should call the sales department and ask questions. The fact that "Tenecor" hasn't been removed from their website is odd. If their website is that inaccurate, how good are the tanks they sell?

Got a 260 from them about two years ago (Sea Clear). Every other company I dealt with was looking to charge between 1000 and 2000 just on the shipping to Alaska. Fish Tanks Direct really bent over backwards and drop shipped the tank out of CA via air cargo to Anchorage then truck to Fairbanks for 150 dollars. Tank arrived flawless and is still looks great. I would definately order from them again.

i find it wierd how the volumes are incorrect for the dimensions given on some tanks. ex: 600 gallon 96x48x30 listed as 535 gallons and 450 gallon 96x36x30 listed as 400.

Just checked them out.I wonder who this tsunami manufacturer is.One thing I noticed on the bigger tsunami tanks it list that its made with 1/2 inch acrylic, which is a little thin for tanks that size.

They are actually correct; I think it's weird when tank manufacturers use outside dimensions when listing tank volumes which is what they are doing when they list 96x48x30 as 600G and 96x36x30 as 450G.

Most 30" tall tanks are made (or should be made) out of at least .75" thick acrylic.

Using internal dimensions assuming .75" acrylic:
(94.5"x46.5"x28.5") / 231 = ~542 Gallons
(94.5"x34.5"x28.5") / 231 = ~402 Gallons

If you try pouring 600 gallons into a 96x48x30 you will end up with ~60 gallons of water on your floor. Try filling a 96x36x30 with 450 gallons and you'll end up with ~50 gallons on the floor.

true i didnt factor in the thickness of the acrylic

If I hadn't found my used 350 I would've got their 350.
