Easy fish to breed

First off you don't need a pair to form. You start with a female. Then you go buy a male that is an inch bigger than her. Then you turn the heat up to 80-82 f. Then wait a couple days and do a 50% water change with cold water. Then you sit and wait for eggs.

oh hmmm, well i have 4 cons at the moment. 1-male 100%, 2-females 100%, 1-maaaaybe female but not sure (small and hard to tell) and wont doing a "cold" water change shock the living piss out them ?

Maybe for a bit but the heater kicks right on and for all the cons know, it's a just a bad storm dumping cold rain. It gets them in the mood I promise

i fed my monsters in my 180 adult cons. some times before the catfish got them all they would breed on a filter tube or even on the bare glass lol.

lmao thats awesome !! wish mine would do that lol... heck i wish mine would just breed none the less... well actually just looked in the tank and i do have a small fish in there form unknown parents either JD's or cons... looks like he is striped maybe but im not sure... i hope they just start breeding like a SOB an dit gets outta hand :) then i can toss em to my pbass and bichir, arowana's, and florida gar :D hehe
