Salvini's are murderers and would be too much for an oscar. I'd go severum or a single convict.

I don't recommend a Salvini either. I had one with 2 Oscars & he terrorized them.

Severum would get way too big in a 75 with an Oscar.

Salvini would be up to you. A female would be much more docile, but a little less colorful. Salvini are entirely possible as long as certain precautions are made. Make sure the salvini starts out smaller than the Oscar. Personality plays a big role in this match up. You either need an aggressive Oscar who could stand up to a salvini or a calmer salvini who won't pick a fight constantly. Everyone's experience with them is different. Every cichlid has a different personality that can make or break a setup. Are they an aggressive cichlid? Absolutely. But so are convicts.

oops. didnt know geophagus had to be in groups. really? one t-bar is to much? they get about the size of a convict right?
