I said it before and ill say it again...GSP is TOO smart to be an exciting champion...maybe he'll have to take more risks once he beats Hendricks and HOPEFULLY moves up a division...bro don't bother calling him a p...I HATE GSP but even i can admit he's a mad good fighter that can dominate using a style that's no secret at the highest levels of MMA..imposing your will/style on someone is one thing but doing it 8 times to the top rated contenders is another. Don't forget he wrecked Matt Hughes when Hughes still had some left in the tank. Yes I sound like I'm pro GSP but I HATE the dude lol

Some logic from a GSP hater.

I watched it again yesterday.

I would love for him to go up to 185 but he has too many good contenders at 170 right now ... Hendricks, Ellenberger etc...and he should save that for the twilight of his career because it's going to be a huge change for him. IMO, his main problem for moving up is his height but at least his reach and intelligence makes up for it.

I think GSP is a great technical fighter. Boring but very technical and incredibly athletic. If he or anyone else thiinks he stands a chance against AS watch AS fights with forest, sandman, sonnen......against anyone. GSP's head would explode from 1 shot of Silvas. Now AS vs JBJ thats a bloodbath!!!!!!!!

I only watched the GSP fight again. A lot of people might think he's boring, but I love watching him fight because he's the most well-rounded fighter there is and especially for someone that doesn't come from a wrestling background, he has amazing wrestling and 25 minutes of GSP is always good for me. What makes you think Anderson would even hit GSP that much or at the right range? I believe it would be like the first Chael fight, but he wouldn't be stupid enough to get submitted. The size discrepancy might change that, but we won't know until if the fight happens. I'm tired of speculating, I just want the fight to happen, but as I said, I think GSP needs to quit 170, bulk up and then fight GSP unless Anderson would come down, which I wouldn't expect him to. Even though Anderson is 4 inches taller, he would only have a 1.5" reach advantage and Georges is the best in MMA at using his jab to stay in the range he needs to be in. Chael actually outstruck Anderson in their first fight from what I saw.

You know exactly what you're going to get with GSP every time. He is an amazing technical fighter who has out classed his entire division but that does not make him exciting. I find myself watching his fights saying things like perfect transition or flawless take down but I'm not on the edge of my seat. Now Anderson did get beat up pretty good in that first fight with Sonnen and I stood up through the whole thing doing the Lidell twitch when he watches a fight. The second fight I stood up through the whole thing again. Anderson can be just as technical and intelligent in the cage as GSP IMO. What makes me think he will hit GSP all his past fights. The size strength, and style will prove to much for GSP even his corner told hm not to box with Diaz and compared to Anderson, Diaz is a can. Anderson to end the super fight by way of whatever he wants.
 
GSP takes the martial out of martial arts. He's has the skills to finish impressively, but he doesn't, and I think that part of that is his coaches fault. The fact that he's content with 25min of control makes me like him less.
I do believe that he has the skills to finish and he better start if he wants to keep his fans.
 
On the bright side of things, GSP has set a new record.

Tonight, GSP set the UFC record for most consecutive time without a finish, with his 150 min topping Jon Fitch's 145 min 12 sec 2007-2011.
