Stingrays banned in Ny and I care why?:ROFL: Maybe more fish keepers and importers from America should move to Canada and then you can own and sell just about anything!!!
 
Banning freshwater rays is up there with banning 30 round AR mags.

A ray keeping buddy of mine told me that as of March 1st rays are illegal in the 5 Boros of NY.

Sure signs of how intolerable NYC will and is to live in.
I'm slowly hating the NY hype of overpriced life aka slave labor for rent and am really considering leaving NY all together.... They have been restricting more and more things without MY vote which shows that we are powerless to the next random senseless law they want to put into place. I'm over it

That sucks but I'm glad I no longer live in NYC. Even thou I'm sure ct and nj would be jumping on the band wagon soon. What is the reason for the ban ? It's not like the rays could live in ny waters and there are probably little to no injuries or deaths caused big rays. I agree the government has become too power hungry spending tax payers money on useless laws when they got police brutality , gang banging and countless Other thing they could worry more about.

Notes. I probably confirmed it with the same person you did... just keep that nonsense on your side of the rive... I may not be able to have axotyls but my rays are "legal" lol

So are mine, I dont live in the 5 Boros. If however it becomes a state wide ban I will surely leave NY tho
