I'm not a huge basketball guy but from what I gather on the radio the Lakers are barely in the playoffs if at all. Kobe can have his playoffs this season if he gets there, but his glory days have passed him for sure. I grew up a Lakers fan but have grown to really dislike them in the past 6 years.

Kobeashi ?? I think that someone has been listening to a little too much Vic ''the brick'' Jacobs....

He's having one of his best seasons ever....in his 17th season. I'm just saying people want to bury the man but this season is historical (third in league in scoring). These numbers have not been reached by men his age. Easy for me to separate the teams success from the individuals success.

Fair enough. I would rather have him post an epic season than the Lakers go to the playoffs. ;)
