How many Arowanas in a 7'3'3' tank?

What species of arowana? Your footprint length is a little short for silver aro, but you do have good width/depth. Height of your tank is excellent for a community. Also need to be aware that housing multiple arowana can be tricky as they don't all just get along. It may take multiple individuals to find the right mix, so it's good if you are able to house them separatly in case things go bad.
 
I am going to disagree with what the rest of people are saying, ya bigger might always be better but really show me one or two of the people who have commented that have a tank that size or larger for what they call the best size. Seriously you have a tank that will work very well with Arows. I do not see why you could not keep a couple of them without any issues at all.
