N/A Native fish that gets up to 6ft long eats Trout and Salmon youve never heard of

What really fascinates me is the fact that these fish are described as having "long, hooked pharyngeal teeth". I'd love to see a picture of that...
 
I neverheard of them either but I have heard of a squawfish which is and older name for them. I never paid any attention to them before though, pretty cool fish.

One can only hope! Especially if Jeremy could catch a hundred pounder like the one fellow earlier in this thread insinuates still exists!

I looked but couldn't find anything about that, however.
 
Not even close. Even Asp grow bigger than Bambusa, + several members of the genus tor.

i thought bambusas were the biggest carp species. What's the biggest then?
