34'' Tigrinus on Aquabid!

Pretty bad scam then, dunno why you'd pay somebody in advance of a pick up.

Well for for starters the fish is pickup only. All traces of that image come from that seller as far as I can tell. The person tried to sell the fish like 6 months ago with the same image. I don't think its a scam but with it being pickup only its not like you can't verify the fish in person.
Sorry didn't see it was pick up only.

My understanding, through reading, is they aren't a real long lived fish. At 34" I would guess it is pretty old. I would hate to pay that kind of money for a fish, always wondering when it would become a floater.

Oh fair enough. I figured they were one of those large cats you can get 20+ years out of.

Good job, detective. I was looking and failed. So the fish is in an 8'x21' vat per Oscar01, an unusually reserved poster, with 1 post per year... :) joking... but the stats are true.

I agree with the poster not posting much. The few posts he has indicate he has quite an impressive collection. Also, his older ads on aquabid have some impressive pictures. Definately a true monster fish keeper by all means.

Looks a bit suspect to me. I'm not sure if its cause I'm viewing it on my phone but the tig doesn't look to any where near 34". Looks more like 24" to me.

On my screen, the ruler in the pic ruler is 37 mm. The fish is 115 mm. If the ruler is exactly 12", this makes the fish 37". I agree with Bassfisher91 - the poster appears to be a serious, earnest monster-fish keeper and an honest seller.
