I've had my aro for six years and its only ever happened twice to mine , it'll prob take week or two but id just leave him to it unless it gets infected

I have a Banjar which i recently bought. First he jumped while moving him and cut his anal fin. Now the other day he jumped into my overflow box and while moving him back he lost his tail in the net haha. So now he is roaming about without 95% of his tail lol. He is just 6".
I never worry about their injuries so much as long as there is clean water and the are eating well ;)

How big is your tank? Looks like it jumping for more room, not unless you have bugs in the house that the arow is jumping for.

Now that you mention Hayn I think my Aro would have jumped for the same reason as i have a glass top and there was dead bug on top of the glass :)

Might want to bump up tank space bro. I got a sliver just for experiment propose only. I put him/her in a 10gal tank (at 3") then to a 180gal ( to grow to 12") then to a 8'x32"x30" tank. He/she hasn't jumped yet, but the droopy eye seems promising no matter what I do. Feeding is slim.
