Seems like a lot of expense to have a plane flying around looking traffic rule breakers...

They don't use radar from planes, they measure the time it takes you to drive a given distance (they have white lines painted every quarter-mile) and then calculate your speed. Also, I believe Dragonfish is just trolling with the invisible-numbers-painted-on-your-roof story....

Oh I know DF was just having fun. Read the entire article. It mainly references working with traffic patrol officers and nothing about the tickets that get mailed

A good troll never lets on when he knows he is being trolled by another troll?

I think the mail-tickets are mostly from stoplight cameras, right? I've never gotten one but I have a friend that did. He said they had two photos, one clearly showing him in the driver-seat and the other being a close-up of his license plate. Seems like cheating.

I gotta call this friend but I'm pretty sure she showed me a speeding ticket mailed to her on a trip in which she never saw a cop. Was quite pissed about it

You're right about stop light cameras. I've seen those photos.

Sorry Eddie,I was trying to troll you. There is no invisible paint on the cars. They just tune in to the GPS unit and track your movements.

We have those photo enforces things here but in broward. But in miami we can drive crazyyy weeeeeeeeeeee!

I would think that a place like Miami is where most of the ticket money would be made.
