A few years back I received a Leucistic Hoduran Red Point that looked very much like your fish. It was very unique at the time, since the parents were pure strain HRPs. With the Leucistic HRPs available today, some will have the stripes while it will be missing in others.
There are a lot of HRP X Convicts today. If your pair is a pure strain, I would consider it rare. If your pair has any HRP in it's lineage, I would not take it to be rare.
Either way it is a nice fish when it has the stripes. =)

Thank you for that input. I'm not familiar with HRP's at all so this look is very new to me. I still need to go by my lfs and confirm where he got them from. I will keep you all updated with progress and info on what I will pair it with once I figure out the sex. Does anyone know at what age convicts reach maturity?
I do have a lot going and it is very lucky to have a tank to itself. Thank you for letting me know I'm doing the right thing. Lol
I would say just as much of a hybrid as other convicts.

Yeah I would say that too. But what I was really getting at was I wouldn't say they don't have HRP blood in them just because they came from Segrest. Basically saying there is no way of knowing the genetics of these fish. Anybody agree with me on that?
This is the fish now... The bars don't stand out like they did before. I'm thinking female because I bought an all white female convict from my lfs and the female kept chasing Casper around. Could be because its an immature male. The bars show at different angles but not all the time. Here goes some pics...
