He's maybe 4'' shell length. At first looking up turtles found around where I'm at (Long Island) I assumed he was an eastern box. But he looks way orange compared to photos I'm seeing.

He's also got two sort of weird enlongated bumps on the top of his shell, near his spine. Been staying in the same spot so long, despite humans being around, that I wonder if he's healthy. Or maybe somebody's escaped pet. But there are mostly summer houses around here, so that seems unlikely.

Can anybody ID? He's really cool looking.

Hell of a find, especially in your driveway :) not sure about ur states laws but its illegal to keep wild ones here in Ohio as their numbers are pretty low, just be sure to check. Very nice coloration

Aww, he's cute. I hate this time of year, so many of them get hit in the road going to lay eggs. :/

I know right? I had to dodge a turtle crossing a 4 lane street the other day....I felt bad for him but it was to much traffic to stop and he was moving pretty fast.
