What frozen fish should not be used?

My wife cooked swai fish for dinner and said she bought enough for me to give to the fish. Can I feed this to my dovii, and jag? Also what are some other fish that are nutritious and which to stay away from.

Probably avoid breaded fish sticks but everything else should be good.

I've found salmon to be a happily accepted, nutritious snack. To the op, I give my cichlids all kinds of fish. When we buy whole fish, which is a lot living in cape may, my fish get scraps that are usually used to make stock. (The meaty parts behind gills and at the base of the tails). Also, my favorite is smelt. It's delicious for us to eat breaded and fried whole, but some larger fish can swallow the whole thing. Basically if its good enough for you, it's good enough for them assuming its raw.

Cliff, smelt is probably the most disgusting fish ever.. But whatever, it's great as fish food as most fish al accept it due to the strong smell.
