Green Terror in need of some lovin?

Just out of curiosity, what are the indicators that influenced you to draw the conclusion that the smaller Green Terrors are females?

I raised hundreds of GT fry. In breeding dress, the female assumes a darker color so your smaller fish of the pair is obviously a female.

?? The smaller fish are barely under an 1.25 inches long, there is no way anyone could possibly identify them accurately when they are that small. Vertical stripes do not mean anything. Considering the fish are barely under 1.25 inches, of course the fish are going to have rounded dorsal and anal fins; this is true with both males and females.

Definitely the first idea because you will most likely have difficulty raising four adult Green Terrors, especially when the male and female go into breeding mode. Territorial issues as well as mating issues will likely develop. Plus the aquarium would need a lot of filtration efficiency to ensure their health; two adult Green Terrors would be enough for that size of aquarium, you might get away with it when they are not adults but you will see when they become adults. My breeding pairs that I have had would obliterate anything else in the aquarium trying to defend the fry. Even the male would just trying to impress the female and claim the aquarium as his territory. Caution I greatly advised if you choose the second idea... I hope this helps!
