Very nice flatties NC!
My 15week holiday has started.
Spent two 2days fishing this week, one on a top spot for 40inch + pike and one on local waters.
on my top spot I managed to catch 2 small pikes around 20-24 inch.
Pictures are from my session on local waters.
Caught 2 nice sized Pikes (31 and 34inch) and a 13inch perch.
My buddy caught some small zanders and baby pikes.
I'f someone wonders why I have such small eyes,I had a high fever but felt well enough to go fishing.

Headed out this morning and its like 10000000 degrees. Got a couple largemouth. Nothing big all under 2 pounds if even that. This was the biggest. Others didnt deserve pics lol.
Hopefully I can go to the bashakill and get some more bass in my pond and whatever else I can hook into. Almost caught a 1 foot snapper next to shore with my net. He came up for air. Looking to remove the snappers from my pond as ive seen them kill some bog bass on their beds and I dont want my bass to get killed. Going to look into getting rid of them.

Couldnt go to the bashakill but went to thr other side of my pond. Caught a monster on one of my new rebel popr magnum. Which is my favorite lure now that I have it. Im just about done fishing when I slam this monster. Instantly as soon as I see it go under I wasnt sure if it was gonna break me off or not. I see it jump and thought it was smaller. Pull him in and see how big he is. No monster by any of your standards maybe, but to me this is probably my personal best. So I was very happy. probably only 4 or so pounds. This was much bigger than the one I caught last week. So I know this was bigger than 3 pounds. Here she is
I bought a new conquest soft tackle box and I bought a berkeley digital scale. I take it home and see that the batteries are dead and it just keeps flashing with 0lbs and 0ounces anything I can do? Or are the batteries dead

How do you like the conquest bag I'm deciding between that one and plano fishafloge and try new batteries

See my new thread I just made. Its very big and spacious. Pretty cheap too I think It was $50. I really like it. It also is made of a tough material with alot of side pockets and little conpartments. Also has this really handy glasses holster

Went to my pond all day. Fished from 8-12 then it started to storm. Went over to the bashakill at about 2 and caught absolutelty nothing. Tried every bait I had except soft plastics. Then came back home at about 4 and fished until 845 and caught a couple little bass. In total I caught about 20 or 30 bass. Nothing big today. I saw a bass at the bashakill that was easily no doubt over 2' long and about a 12" girth at its stomach. This was no doubt the biggest bass ive ever seen in my life and she wouldnt bite anything at all. I tried literally everything. Couldnt get pics as the only way I saw it was through my polarized glasses. Saw a bunch of baby bass and chain pickerel. Wish I could have caught a couple babies to grow out.

That is a nice one, glad to see you getting the hang of them, i would advise not holding a fish like that by the gills, just sayin...
Hit muddy run for my first real flatty trip of the year. Water was around 73 degrees but they just wouldn't bite. Got 2 channels and 3 flats biggest at 8.92 lbs. She was fat with eggs i think, maybe the big uns have already started the spawn? been hot here.
