sardine and anchovie advice/ bait store

Hope everybody is well.

I have a big Armatus Payara.

My question is today I bought 2 bags of frozen whole fish used for bait at my LBS! Can I use these bait fish for feeding my Payara?

1 lb of silversides (8inches each and perfect size for my Payara)
1 lb anchovies (guy at bait store said he chops them up and feeds the store fish, cichlids and oscars chopped up anchovies for years)

btw Both have no salt added.

Thanks so much bro! These were already frozen. I was just thinking since they are not for consumption if maybe there could be a chance they spoiled or died and then were frozen.

Whenever I'm fishing, I always save the live dines and chovies for my fish. Haven't had any problems over the years. Just be prepared for the chovies to make an oil slick on top of your water.

make sure the armatus doesn't choke.

They both just say quick frozen and the Anchovies says fish oil. I am gonna contact the company that makes them and ask them about it. The bait store owner seems cool and says he feeds his fish in the store(they have a huge display tank) for years.

Those LFS silver sides(Hikari) were killing my wallet at close to 20 dollars a pound. My Armatus would eat half the bag in 1 feeding.
