The culling is done by human and not machine. So I can only understand that sometime we do feel tired after doing a lot of culling and staring at those small fella. I only believe it's natural error like this do happen every now and then. But to blame on the breeder will be a bit hash isn't it? And also I believe the buyer need to do his/her part by selecting the right fish from the pool. I won't blame anyone but myself if I ever have any such fish in my tank for the choice is on me during the purchase. Just my 2 cents worth of thought.:chillpill:

The "pool" is a few thousand miles from me, so picking the right fish wasn't really an option. Jeff is aware of problems I have had with some of my TUIC fish. I didn't go looking to get my money back...I just made him aware of some fish that didn't survive or meet my standards. He's a good person and I would buy from him again.

Hard to do when your hundred or thousands of miles away and you are at the mercy of the vendor picking your fish. Only takes a couple seconds to look at a fish when you pull it out for packaging to make sure fins and such are intact!

Now that's tough... Looking through the bag filled with water is not easy to spot defect...
