Has anyone had a blind mbu?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I know that's what people say, I never had sensitive issues with my fahaka but hey things vary, if he is blind and the parameters are under control now; how should I carry on? I think he might just be on a hunger strike though. I tried to hand feed him, didn't work

doing it after your wc defeats the purpose. you need to know what your water quality is between wc's

Probably 75% shrimp the last couple months, I couldn't find any crayfish small enough at his size in bulk.

I wonder if this is a thiaminase issue? Whole prawns are loaded with it. Here are some interesting links...

Regarding garter snakes, not aquarium fish, but still relevant...

I actually had him eating some crayfish but he stopped and they've been frozen for awhile so I wasn't sure how ok they are to feed anymore; I bought some live ones for him yesterday, along with the fiddler crabs. Hard to find ones small enough for him though. May have to just set my trap up at the creek
