A dangerous way to set up a tank.

Get a ladder.

Why would this occur logical to you first?

Have you ever watched tanked? They are pros and they do it on just about every install.

Not always when they make odd shaped tanks they have some one do the same thing

In deep tanks you have to get up on the tank. I've done similar with my 300 had my feet dangle off the stool to reach my hand to the bottom. Dip my shoulder and side of my cheek into the water.

How else are you suppose to arrange stuff or do maintainence on it if you cant get in or on top of it?

Getting in it would be much safer IMO. I've got no experience with acrylic tanks, but no way in hell I'd be doing that with glass!

I do this every time I vacuum my tank. There is no way I'm going to able to reach down inside a tank that's already taller then I am lol have a 900 and its no easy task.

But setting up the environment is always easier when the tank is empty or half filled. Otherwise you look like Scuba Steve over here with his goggles.

And never ever try it on a glass tank, you're asking for trouble.

The guys from "Tanked" are terrible with fish.

Good with aquariums - terrible with fish. So everything they do that doesnt directly involve acrylic I take with a grain of salt.

What do fish have to do with anything I said. A wet ladder would be a lot more dangerous.
