Sexing some Festae

Today it seams as im seeing some more spangles move across the tail of #2. But just a couple here and there. Each day I look at them its like looking at new fish lol.. Im going to keep these for a little longer and see where we end up. I have to admit they are both beautiful. If I had the tank space and I could keep a pair I would. But at the current moment. Im looking to fetch me a male first. Get the tank space and fetch a female. So the wait game begins.

And TAG I have to agree. #2 is quite beautiful.
 
Some updates on these two fish. Im pretty positive I feel that fish #1 (the that actually had spangles all over the tail first) is a female.

The spangles on the tail have been fading. The facial features are soft. Plus the dark black is really coming in on the dorsal fin in a large part of it. Stripes get really dark as well on this fish. She is getting quite pretty.

AND....... For good measure I moved her to one of my 125g tanks. While I had her out I took this shot.

 
Festae #2 has gone through some changes as well. The Spangles are moving in on the rear fin. Where they werent before. Plus I have not yet seen the black come in on the dorsal like the other fish. Not that it means anything yet. But it to can have some pretty aggressive stripes. Seems to be a brighter color of yellows. Again may not mean much at this time.

Here are some photos of #2. Sorry for the cloudy water. Just got done moving everything out of the tank so I could catch and move some fish into some different grow out tanks. These 2 pics have the 2 of them together. Festae #1 of course has the dark dorsal fin

Just was looking at the Vent pics and see they could be better. On my computer or even my Phone they are very clear. Id like to repoat but with a different picture host.

Any good recommendations for Pic hosting for better qaulity? But maybe still free?
 
I used a photo editor to try and take out some of the blurr and out of focus in a couple shots. This may be better then the first ones I posted.

Looks to me like you have a pair:) 1st fish is female and 2nd is male:) vent pics are too small;) lol but i can barely make them out along with body pics to help. Good luck with them and have fun:)

Looking at the pictures on my computer and in full size. The festae #1 has a definite u shape vent and the festae #2 has a very defined v shape vent.

But. I'm pretty sure one male one female. I'm rather excited.
