What do you think? Price? Midas thread

Looks like it's time for you to set up another tank. That dude is a BEAST.

And I've said this multiple times:
It doesn't matter how much a fish costs (within reason, obviously there are fish that are $100,000. I'm talking about sub $200 fish, which is what most of us are talking about here). The cost of the fish itself is a drop in the bucket compared to the rest of the costs of fishkeeping, so you may as well spend the extra $20 to get the fish you really want after spending hundreds (maybe thousands) on your tank setup, food, etc...

Maybe the seller is selling so cheap because he's a killer and already killed half his fish.
There are usually reasons a fish is being sold , and may not be good ones for the buyer.

It doesn't seem too aweful cheap to me. I've seen 16" midevils listed at $25 at my LFS. They're cheap fish around here because people buy them when they're little for their 20 gallon tanks and they outgrow them quick and have to take them in to the LFS. Then the LFS is stuck with a cheap fish that's taking up an entire tank that they want to flip quick.

But he may also be mean as Duane says, and I'd bank on that since those midevils are notoriously mean. He'd look awesome in his own 75 gallon tank as a wet pet, though.

I just set up a 90 for smaller fish.

I was worried about him being too mean. They guy said that he is living with convicts and rift lakes in a 40 gallon. He also said he has never killed a fish, but who know how he would act in my tank?
