Finally was able to get a nice tank for my Armatus!

I am loving the dimensions 8X3X4 with 1 inch thick Acrylic. Tank sits almost 8 feet high and barely clears my ceiling. I had to chain saw my house to get it in. The whole time I was thinking I love my Armatus!

Hoping to get it all running by the weekend!

Nice man, congrats ... best feeling ever getting a new big tank IN the house!
Look forward to seeing it all set up with a 2ft Army in there one day

Really nice, a tank that size has so many stocking options.

Thanks so much bro! My Armatus has been eating 2 whole Sardines/Mackerel a day. Been gut loading the fish with freeze dried earthworms, krill, hikari and soaking the fish in vita-chem. He's already pushing 20 inches! I was thinking about getting another couple big Armatus right away so they can all be friends.

But just letting him have the tank alone would be fine with me also! He is my pride and joy and has been eating out of my hand.

How about a nice armored cat such as Niger? They are very calm and won't cause any stress for the armatus.

So lucky! There is so much potential in that tank!

Thanks what are your ideas that can go with a couple 2 foot Armatus!

A big, thick black arowana for a topwater fish, and a big cat for the bottom (I think a niger cat would be awesome also) and about 100 cardinal tetras. They'd be too small for any of the big predators to eat and would look absolutely stunning shoaling around in a tank that size!

Oh, and we NEED new pics of this 20" army! :D
