That's not a Bagarius at all. That's a Sisorid catfish from the genus Glyptothorax. There's way too many of them for me to be able to spot them all right off hand, but I can tell you 100% that's no goonch.

Yep lol. I imagine the bichirs would be more of a threat to the cat than the other way around. One of these would probably fill the belly of a big, fat bichir pretty well.
 
Well guys I gave in an fed some guppies. He did eat a couple, I just didn't have time to sit and watch how many. I hate feeding live I just wanted him to get comfortable eating in my tank, we'll try pellets this weekend
