Algae hair growing on my anubias

I have this hair like algae growin on my big anubias plants and my colombian sailfin pleco is not eating it...what can I do?? Its a festae tank also

I had a bad algae bloom in my 55 gallon and I bought 10 otto cats and 4 siamese algae eaters and within 6 hours they did some damage on the algae. Just and idea if you dont have any of those fish they are great anti-algae crew

I think my festaes will kill them in less than 6 hours...thanks for the idea tho

Try and look for some larger chinese algae eaters. Or maybe a 3" pleco. Bn plecos are the best for algae

Had a bushy nose in the tank before the festaes were put in it...they let him live for a few months then one day the dominant male snapped and killed it

I had a crazy growth of black beard algae on my Anubis and piece of wood. Pleco wouldn't touch it and it is hard as hell to remove. I'm talking a rough bristled brush didn't even eliminate it. Almost as If to rid it you'd need to pressure wash it

Exactly...I tried to remove it with my fingers and it didnt budge at all lol
