Update on my tank with my WC kelberi.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Lucas next time try taking still shots.
Hold a pair of glasses in front of the camera lense. Make sure the lenses are polarized so that it will take the glare off the water.

As for the two that wont eat.
Feed the ones that eat pellets like you normally would first.
Then try feeding the other 2 frozen fish pieces of filets.
Over here they sell fish called silversides. SMall whole minnow type fish that were frozen whole.
You can drop them in the current.
FIrst i would try wiggling them at the top to get their attention.

They are still on frozen fillet. I tried what you said with frozen whole vannamei shrimp, and didnt worked.

Do your Cichla accept well frozen shrimp ?

In the worst of cases I will try to buy tilapia fingerlings and give then, or maybe I will buy the fingerlings and freeze to avoid any disease and just throw then in the tank.

And Thanks again for the advices gangster!

Now I got a decent camera! Now I just need to buy a polarized lens for the camera, but I can do much better pics already!

This is a little guy that Im growing in another tank. I put him there because he was being bullyied an he is also helping me to pellet train three little new guys.

Those are some gorgeous kelberi Lucas!
Good idea gettn the other guy in a seperate tub.
Try using a pair of sun glasses w/ polarized lenses in front of your camera lens. This will help get rid of the glare.

Great shots man! Some amazing spangling on two in particular!

Wow! Nice cearas. Would love to see them in a tank. Tie a fishing string to the fish fillet and jerk it around to give it live action. This was the method I used to pellet train some of my previous cichlas.

The other one is pretty faded.. Idk, he cant fat up, and cant show nice colors, even eating more than the other two together, he is like a lightining eating..

Idk if its some kind of parasites, but hes behaviour is very healthy.

Has you guys experienced this before?

They look good Lucas, and yes its probably internal parasites.
