what are the best spots online for some rare bichirs (particularly retorpinnis)? i may be picking up a gold dust palmas for jurassic aquatics but id like to find more sources and more specie.
+1 toyin (I've heard is pretty good) but since i'm in texas i have to buy from him through LFS which isn't the easiest thing since he doesn't tell you where one is........... however i did find one and i've gotton some pretty nice polys from him (or his LFS), but as far as JA they are my go to vendoror toyin.
I bought a palmas polli that turned out to be a retro from a store called Aquatic Daycare in Oregon. I believe he still has some (4-5 inches); he's selling a bulk lot of them on aquabid and the individuals were $30 (or 3 for $60) plus shipping. I never did tell him about the mislabel because I couldn't figure out a non-awkward way to do it![]()
