Any chili heads out there

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My neighbor used to grow different kinds but I think the groundhog ate most if them.

Our autumns are too cool and wet to raise chiles, but I do love to eat hot stuff. This is an old photo, I think we probably have a few more different ones now.

The chilis I am growing this year are sweet heats, jalapenos, cayennes, orange habaneros, Caribbean reds, Tepins, and ghosts. I am growing some sweets too - purple bells and tequila sunrise bells. I had Carolina reapers but they burnt up. Biggest let down ever. Those were expensive. Also I will be starting seeds for manzano (rocoto) chilis here in a few days.

The ol BF is growing several colorful peppers, habaneros, and jalapeños. He was gonna do those sasparilla scorpion peppers or whatever they are but the growing season hit too late here for those. So he'll try for em next year. I hope they don't come in. I'm Sissy enough they'll kill me! Hahaha
