Im not that handy. Do you guys think one 48"-60" would be sufficient for my 180G (6x2x2)

Or should i get two 36"-48"

The unit itself without metal extension would be 48" for larges one

I read somewhere if you take the legs all the way out it voids the warranty? Seemed stupid, don't know if it's true?

oops, hope not!!

I think one row of lights would be enough for a 30" wide tank if you lifted them up a bit, depends how bright you like it I guess.

My 48" fixture is more than enough for the 72" length and my gut feeling tells me it will be fine on 24" width. Not sure about the 30" width and plan on upgrading to a 72x30x24 in a month or 2 so I've been thinking about that a bit lately. If 1 48" fixture isn't enough I'm probably going to get a second 48" and run the 2 parallel to each other.

Just ordered the 48" satellite + hoping it lives up to its rep , also ordered the ramp timer because I'm lazy ;):D
I'll keep posted with pics and thoughts etc once it arrives

not sure if I should get the one 48-60 for a 150 gal (6ft) or two 36inchers....if I go with two can they both be operated off of one remote ? like if I switched it to one of the dynamic modes with both strips change at the same time ?

Mines going on a 5ft i'd go with two 36" ones on a 6ft personally if you don't want dark spots at sides of your tank , not sure about the controls though its a good question jaws , I suppose in theory they should work off one remote depends how there set up ???
